SC stresses speedy bail hearings

ISLAMABAD:

The Supreme Court has reaffirmed its commitment to the protection of fundamental rights and personal liberty by ensuring expeditious hearing and disposal of pre-arrest and post-arrest bail cases across the country.

According to a statement issued by the Supreme Court, bail matters are being fixed and heard strictly in line with the Court's fixation policy to ensure timely adjudication and safeguard constitutional rights of litigants.

The apex court stated that at present there are no pending unfixed pre-arrest or post-arrest bail cases at the principal seat of the apex court in Islamabad.
