Six killed in Kalat road crash

At least six people, including two women and two children, were killed in a road accident in Kalat district on the Quetta-Karachi Hsighway on Monday, police said.

According to police, the accident occurred near a toll plaza when a pickup truck collided with a car, resulting in fatal injuries to all occupants of the car.

The deceased were identified as Amjad, Haji Ayub, Bibi Salma, Arifa, and two children, all residents of Pishin. They were travelling from Karachi to Pishin to celebrate Eidul Azha with their family.

Two people in the pickup, driver Amanullah and his companion Saeed Ahmed, were injured in the crash.
