SJC dismisses complaints against CJP

The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on Thursday unanimously dismissed five complaints filed against Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi.
According to a statement issued by the SJC, the complaints were related to various matters from 2016, 2022, and 2025, including allegations concerning judicial decisions and appointments.
Meanwhile, the chief justice directed that the SJC's decisions regarding five separate complaints filed against him be made available to the public.
The announcement was confirmed in a formal statement issued by the Interim Secretary of the Supreme Judicial Council.
