Bullah is set to make its world television premiere this Eidul Azha. Starring Shaan Shahid and Sara Loren, the film was first released on Eidul Fitr and quickly drew attention for its modern, stylised Punjabi retelling inspired by the revolutionary figure of Bullah Shah.

The film follows Bullah, played by Shaan, as he takes on systemic injustice and organised crime using the philosophical teachings passed down by his father. Alongside undercover operative Sophia, Bullah confronts oppressive forces and a ruthless mafia lord named Bakshi while protecting displaced communities across rural and urban Punjab.

Directed by Shoaib Khan and written by Nasir Adeeb, who also penned The Legend of Maula Jatt, Bullah explores themes of resilience, dignity and resistance. The film made a strong impact at the box office and is now preparing to reach television audiences nationwide.

Shaan also reflected on the film during promotional tours, saying Bullah is “not just a film, it’s a voice.” He added that the project represents “fearless, meaningful cinema grounded in truth” and highlights the strength of culture and faith.
