Netflix drama 'Adolescence' heads Bafta TV Awards nominations ahead of 2026 ceremony in London

Adolescence has emerged as the most nominated programme at the Bafta Television Awards 2026, receiving 11 nominations ahead of this year’s ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
The Netflix drama secured nominations across several major categories, including Limited Drama, Leading Actor for Stephen Graham, Supporting Actor for both Ashley Walters and Owen Cooper, and Supporting Actress nominations for Christine Tremarco and Erin Doherty. The series also received a nomination in the Memorable Moment category.
Disney+ drama A Thousand Blows followed with seven nominations, while Andor and Trespasses each earned six nominations.
BBC recorded the highest number of nominations overall across the Television and Craft Awards categories with 73 nominations. Netflix followed with 29 nominations, while Channel 4 secured 25.
In the Leading Actor category, Graham will compete against Colin Firth, Matt Smith and Taron Egerton, among others. The Leading Actress category includes Doherty, Jodie Whittaker and Sheridan Smith.
Other programmes nominated across categories include The White Lotus, Blue Lights, The Bear and Severance.
