Getting a passport renewed in America

HOUSTON: This is with reference to a letter in your newspaper of June 24 titled “Getting a passport renewed in America” by an ‘affected student’. The Consulate in Houston makes only manual passports. Machine readable passports are only made in New York and Los Angeles. I assure the writer of the letter that the case will be processed expeditiously to enable him to travel to Pakistan.
