'One Piece' Chapter 1182 spoilers hint at escalation before manga break
New spoilers reveal events unfolding in the upcoming chapter, scheduled for release on May 10

One Piece Chapter 1182 is set to continue the manga’s final saga with a renewed focus on the battle between Loki and Imu, while also introducing a powerful new figure tied to the World Government’s growing conflict.
According to spoilers published by Fantasy World, the upcoming chapter, scheduled for release on May 10, will not conclude the ongoing clash between Loki and Imu.
Instead, the chapter expands the conflict while shifting attention towards another major development involving Saint Rimoshifu Killingham.
The spoilers suggest that both Zoro and Sanji recover after being defeated during the previous confrontation with Imu in Chapter 1180. Sanji was reportedly overpowered with a single kick, while Zoro was struck by a mysterious new ability known as “Maki”, which appears to introduce a new dimension to the concept of Haki within the series.
Loki is said to continue attacking Imu by combining lightning-based powers with the icy abilities of Ragnir. However, Imu withstands the assault and counters with attacks involving “Maki” and fire-based powers believed to be linked to a newly revealed Akuma no Mi, or Devil Fruit.
The chapter’s central moment reportedly centres on Killingham, who summons what is described as his strongest MMA creation, Zaza, the Rain Goddess. The spoilers describe Zaza as a transparent four-armed woman whose body is filled with water. She wears a robe and conical hat, while her face remains hidden behind a veil.
Upon appearing, Zaza allegedly floods an entire village, escalating the danger facing the Straw Hat allies. The spoilers also indicate that Zoro and Sanji prepare to confront both Killingham and Sommers as the conflict intensifies.
The report notes that the manga will take a break next week, meaning Chapter 1183 is now expected to release on May 24 instead of May 17.
