Umer Mukhtar, Mahnoor Rahim row concludes with legal settlement after serious allegations

Both of the parties took their socials to share a joint statement where they ‘agreed to amicably resolve the matter’

The controversy involving Umer Mukhtar and Mahnoor Rahim has formally come to an end, with both parties resolving the matter through legal channels and reaching an amicable agreement in good faith.

This development comes months after a public dispute in which Rahim accused the television producer of inappropriate conduct, including allegations of exploiting underage girls.

The resolution was confirmed through a joint statement shared on Instagram, where both parties noted that they had “agreed to amicably resolve the matter.”

“As part of the resolution, Ms Mahnoor Rahim has, in good faith and without admission of liability, agreed that the said statements and posts shall no longer subsist in the public domain”, the statement read.

It further added, “Mr Umer Mukhtar pursuant thereto has in good faith and without prejudice to his rights to withdraw all legal proceedings so initiated”.

The controversy initially surfaced in February when Rahim posted a viral Instagram video recounting her interaction with a television producer.

Although she did not name him at first, Mukhtar was later identified in a follow-up post, leading to widespread speculation. The situation escalated when Mukhtar’s legal team filed a defamation case.

Hania Aamir was also referenced in the initial video due to her close association with the accused, prompting discussions around accountability within social circles.

The actor later addressed the situation via her Instagram stories, reiterating her zero-tolerance stance toward harassment and stating that she had distanced herself from the individual in question.

With both parties now agreeing to a settlement, the matter appears to have been resolved for the time being.
