'Devil Wears Prada' cerulean M&M’s sell out immediately, prompting fan reaction
Limited cerulean M&M’s release tied to 'Devil Wears Prada' sells out in seconds, prompting online reactions

A limited-edition release of cerulean M&M’s tied to The Devil Wears Prada has sold out shortly after launch, prompting widespread reaction from fans online.
The product was introduced by M&M’s as part of a promotional activity linked to the upcoming sequel to the 2006 film.
The “All Cerulean” pack featured chocolates in a single shade of blue, referencing a well-known monologue from the original film in which the character Miranda Priestly discusses the significance of the colour.
The packaging included design elements inspired by the film, including a sweater pattern and the word “cerulean” printed prominently. The product was made available for free through the M&M’s website at 11 a.m. ET on May 1, while supplies lasted.
According to user responses on social media, the stock was depleted within a short period. One user commented, “I missed these, too! I had a timer set and everything. By the time I got through, they were sold out. 😢”
Another wrote, “Don't waste your time. It was gone in seconds,” while a separate comment stated, “Gone like the wind 💨 Bots 🤖 got them 😢.” One user also questioned, “So ‘supplies lasted’ a whole 15 seconds?!”
The Devil Wears Prada remains a widely recognised film nearly two decades after its release. However, the limited availability meant that many interested buyers were unable to obtain the item.
