Podcast host Joe Rogan has commented on the JPMorgan lawsuit involving executive Lorna Hajdini and ex-banker Chirayu Rana, describing the allegations as “fake” and a “scam” during his latest episode.

In a clip from his show, Rogan said, “It turns out that the lady … it was a scam. It was fake. The lady who forced the guy to f–k her at JPMorgan. It wasn’t real,” referring to reporting that identified Rana as the man behind the anonymous “John Doe” complaint. He added, “He just claimed that she said all these things.”

Rogan also referenced the broader reaction to the case during the podcast discussion, which included comedian Shane Gillis. Gillis responded, “An Indian guy made the claims?” to which Rogan replied, “Yep. She was hot.” Gillis added, “It reads like a horny Indian guy wrote it.”

The pair further discussed the allegations, with Rogan stating, “If it was a guy making similar accusations against a woman, the guy would be fired. He would be shamed,” while Gillis suggested “jail time for anyone filing a knowingly bogus suit.”

The lawsuit, filed in the New York Supreme Court under the name John Doe, accused Hajdini of sexual assault, drugging, and coercive workplace behaviour. It also alleged that JPMorgan ignored the reported misconduct.

Multiple sources cited in reporting stated that an internal investigation by JPMorgan reviewed emails, records, and devices, finding no evidence of wrongdoing. Hajdini reportedly cooperated with the review, while Rana did not participate.

The complaint also named JPMorgan as a defendant, although the bank has denied the allegations. The initial filing was later removed from the docket and marked for correction.

Legal representatives for the complainant have maintained the claims and stated that additional evidence exists, while suggesting the matter is still active in court proceedings.
