Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo final volume released alongside MAPPA animated trailer
Final Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo volume launches in Japan with MAPPA trailer directed by Shun Miyakawa

The final collected volume of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has been released in Japan on May 1, accompanied by a newly produced animated trailer by studio MAPPA.
The manga, created by Gege Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki, concluded its run last month with its final chapter. The third volume marks the completion of the short series, which expands on the universe of Jujutsu Kaisen.
The promotional trailer was directed and storyboarded by Shun Miyakawa, a key animator on the main anime series.
Character design and chief animation direction were handled by Sota Yamazaki, who has also contributed to multiple episodes of the original Jujutsu Kaisen anime.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo first debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump on September 7, 2025. Set in the year 2086, the story takes place 68 years after the events of the Culling Game arc.
The narrative follows jujutsu sorcerers Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu as they encounter Maru, a humanoid alien possessing abilities identical to jujutsu sorcery.
The encounter challenges existing assumptions about the nature of these powers and raises broader questions about humanity’s future.
An English-language version of the manga was published simultaneously by VIZ Media, with chapters made available through its website and the Shonen Jump app.
The release of the final volume and its accompanying trailer marks the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo.
