Constable martyred in Pishin checkpost attack

QUETTA:

A police constable was martyred after terrorists launched a brazen attack on a checkpost in the Killi Harmezai area of Balochistan's Pishin district on Monday evening.

According to police sources, unknown terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the checkpost located in the Harmezai region. The sudden assault left Hawaldar Nematullah critically injured. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but he succumbed to his wounds.

The attackers managed to flee from the scene shortly after the firing. In response, security forces swiftly cordoned off the entire area and initiated a large-scale search operation to apprehend the culprits.
