PR establishes Digital Central Control Office

LAHORE:

Pakistan Railways has taken a significant step towards modernization by establishing a Digital Central Control Office, which will play a key role in making the railway system safer, more efficient, and fully integrated.

The facility has been set up under the RAIN (Railway Advanced Infrastructure Network) project. The control room will enable real-time monitoring of railway operations across the country. Through this facility, continuous oversight of passenger train movements, freight operations and logistics systems will be ensured.
