Dispute over garbage burning claims life

A landlord was shot dead while two tenants were injured during a dispute over burning garbage outside a house in Moinabad, Landhi.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Sharafi Goth police station, where a quarrel between a landlord and his tenants escalated into gunfire. Police and rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the deceased and injured to Jinnah Hospital.

The deceased was identified as 50-year-old Munir, son of Abdul Qayyum, a driver by profession and father of two. He was a resident of the area and originally belonged to Mansehra. The injured were identified as 50-year-old Gul Badshah, son of Sakhi Shah, and 26-year-old Junaid, son of Gul Badshah.

Initial investigations revealed that the dispute began when the tenants were burning garbage outside the house and the landlord objected. This led to an argument that turned violent, resulting in gunfire. Police stated that the landlord was killed by firing from the injured tenants. Further investigation is underway.
