Suspect nabbed in firing case

LAHORE:

Manawan police have arrested a suspect accused of injuring a man in a firing incident.

The incident took place in the Manawan area, where a citizen identified as Adil was shot and wounded while travelling on a motorcycle.

He was shifted to a hospital for immediate medical treatment. Police said they launched action and arrested the nominated suspect, identified as Shahid Ameen.

A rifle, along with a magazine and bullets, was recovered from his possession.

A case has been registered against the suspect on the complaint of the injured victim, while further investigations are under way.
