Drone attack on mosque sparks panic

PESHAWAR:

A drone attack targeted a Masjid in Hassan Khel area on the outskirts of Peshawar early Thursday morning, causing panic among residents, however, no casualties or injuries have been reported.

According to initial police report, an unidentified quadcopter drone struck the Speen Masjid located in Hassan Khel subdivision, a sensitive area connected to Peshawar and Dara Adam Khel.

The attack occurred at dawn, creating an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty in the surrounding locality. Police and relevant authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and security has been tightened across the area.
