Plan to enhance crop yields sought

ISLAMABAD:

The Ministry of Food, in coordination with provinces, was directed on Thursday

to present a plan within a month to enhance

crop yields.

The Ministry of Commerce was asked to provide import and export statistics of commodities along with related issues, while the Ministry of Health was tasked with updating on the import and availability of medicines.

The Ministry of Railways, along with NLC, was also instructed to brief the EC on logistics and transportation arrangements for commodities and any associated challenges.
