Naqvi orders FIA to ensure complaints resolution

KARACHI:

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday directed authorities to ensure prompt resolution of public complaints and uphold transparency in investigations, as the government steps up efforts to overhaul the agency.

Accompanied by FIA DG Dr Usman Anwar, the minister conducted a detailed inspection of the FIA Karachi Zone, where senior officials were briefed on ongoing complaints, inquiries and key cases.

During the briefing, officials outlined progress on investigations and case handling, while the minister and DG underscored that complaints must be addressed without delay and strictly on merit.
