Crossfire: Robber killed, 3 injured in encounter

SIALKOT:
A robber was killed and his two companions and a villager were injured during an exchange of fire near village Dhilum Balagun Begowala, Sambrial on Saturday night. According to police officials, four armed robbers shot and injured a villager, Muhammad Jamil, on offering resistance during a robbery. Meanwhile, other villagers opened fire on the robbers and one man was killed as two of his accomplices were severely injured. The deceased was identified as Husnain alias ‘Kala’ and his companions as Asif Abdullah and Khurram Nawaz. The villagers handed over the injured robbers to Begowala police and police have shifted the injured to Government Allama Iqbal Memorial DHQ Civil Hospital Sialkot in critical condition.
