Gomal University fires employee involved in sexual harassment
Following a complaint, the employee was investigated and dismissed within three days by orders

Gomal University DI Khan administration has made it clear that a strict ‘zero tolerance’ policy is being enforced against any incident of harassment on campus.
Following a complaint received a few days ago, acting on the directives of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, immediate action was taken. The inquiry was completed on an emergency basis, and the concerned employee was dismissed from service within just three days.
The administration stated that providing a safe and peaceful educational environment for students remains the university’s top priority, and parents need not have any cause for concern.
The current administration is fully active against harassment to ensure the respect, safety, and dignity of all students enrolled at Gomal University.
According to the spokesperson, every complaint received regarding harassment is taken with the utmost seriousness, and no individual will be considered above the law and university regulations.
The administration adopted an unequivocal stance, declaring that no leniency will be shown to anyone involved in harassment, and immediate action will be taken.
The university administration also expressed regret that certain elements are trying to engage in negative propaganda against Gomal University without justification.
The administration further stated that educational institutions are a trust of society; therefore, everyone should act responsibly, keeping in mind the institution’s dignity and the future of its students.
