Football: Bayern brush aside Leverkuson

BERLIN: Bayern Munich strolled past Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 to stay clear at the top in the Bundesliga. Bayern’s opening goal came on five minutes from Thomas Mueller, with Belgian defender Daniel van Buyten netting the second on 19 minutes to effectively put the match to bed. Arjen Robben put the icing on the cake with a goal in the final minute of the game after good work from Bastian Schweinsteiger.
