More flights cancelled amid ME crisis
Escalating conflict in the Middle East has once again thrown air travel into disarray, with flight operations that had begun stabilising now severely disrupted, forcing airlines to cancel dozens of flights, delay others and struggle to maintain operations amid soaring costs.
The renewed intensity in the Iran-US-Israel conflict has made it increasingly difficult for both domestic and international airlines to sustain schedules, with aircraft often grounded for days in Pakistan and other countries, incurring heavy parking charges in dollars.
According to flight information sources, at least 65 flights to and from major Middle Eastern destinations, including Dubai were cancelled on Monday.
