Eidul Fitr Day 3: Back to routine after the festive high

Eidul Fitr Day 3 has a different kind of vibe. The rush has settled, the guests have slowed down and the house finally feels quiet again. It’s the unofficial day to pause, breathe and reset before life slips back into its usual routine.
It often starts with what’s left of Eid on the table. A warm bowl of sheer khurma in the morning, maybe not as fancy as Day 1, but somehow more comforting. There’s no rush now; you actually sit down and enjoy it. Then comes the slow unwinding. A simple head massage, a little extra rest or just lying down without checking the time.
Family time also shifts into a softer gear. It’s less about hosting and more about just being around each other. While you see your sibling count their Eidis again, someone else plans how to spend it and there’s always that one person still holding onto theirs like it’s a prize.
But for now, the day is for resting, resetting, and holding onto that last bit of Eid before the routine takes over again, with good food, family, laughter and the comfort of favourite movies and dramas keeping the festive feeling alive.
