Minerals forum postponed to November
Organisers cite regional developments, travel environment for rescheduling

The Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2026 (PMIF26), originally scheduled for April in Islamabad, has been tentatively postponed to November this year, organisers announced on Monday.
According to a statement, the Forum, initially planned for April 8-9, 2026, will now tentatively take place on November 12-13, 2026.
The organisers said the decision followed consideration of evolving regional developments and the international travel environment affecting a number of key markets.
While Pakistan remains outside the conflict zone and international travel to the country continues to operate normally, the organisers said the revised schedule would provide greater certainty for overseas participation.
The decision was taken in consultation with government counterparts and international partners to ensure strong global representation at the event.
Moving the Forum to November is expected to create a more stable window for international delegations, investors, policymakers and industry leaders to participate in the dialogue and partnerships that the Forum aims to facilitate.
The PMIF26 serves as a platform for engagement among mining companies, exploration firms, service providers, financial institutions and government stakeholders.
Organisers said preparations for the Forum remain underway, including programme development, international outreach and partnership engagement in the lead-up to the revised timeline.
