Over 30 drug dealers arrested in raids

The police in Kotri and other areas of Jamshoro district have intensified their crackdown on drug dealers, apprehending more than 30 suspects, including a female drug peddler, during the past 15 days.
According to a police spokesperson, the operations were launched on the directives of IG Sindh as part of a special campaign against narcotics trafficking. Police from Kotri City, SITE Jamshoro, A and B Sections, Nooriabad, Manjhand, Thana Bola Khan and Sehwan police stations carried out multiple raids and arrests.
During these operations, Nooriabad police arrested Ahmed Ali Lashari and recovered three kilograms of charas from his possession. In a separate alleged police encounter, Rasheed Mallah and Darya Khan Mallah were arrested with pistols, while Saeed Tunio was also nabbed with a weapon after an alleged encounter.
Sehwan police arrested a female drug dealer, Amina Baloch, along with Saddam Solangi, recovering four kilograms of charas from them. Jamshoro police also arrested Ahmed Jamali with a stolen mobile phone, while Jamila Sheedi and Shahbaz Kanbar were detained with narcotics.
In other operations, Shabbir Ahmed Mirjat, Altaf, and Qadir Bux Brohi were arrested with pistols in a narcotics case. Thana Bola Khan police attempted to arrest Meyo Khan Memon with drugs, but he managed to escape.
