Abducted Bajaur cop found dead

A policeman was found dead in the War Mamund tehsil of Bajaur district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Friday, a day after he was abducted from near Damadola area.

According to a media report, a Bajaur police spokesperson said that the 54-year-old Shah Munir Khan, who was on leave, had been heading home with his family to the Badan locality on Thursday evening when he was abducted by unidentified armed men.

Bajaur Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Niaz Muhammad also confirmed the death of Munir a day after his abduction.
