'Pre-verdict deceased quota hiring valid'
.

The Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has ruled that appointments made under the government job quota scheme for the relatives of deceased or disabled employees remain valid if they were made before the scheme's abolition.
In its judgment, the court upheld the decision of the Sindh High Court's (SHC) Larkana Circuit Bench and declared the appointments of all ten petitioners lawful. The court also dismissed the appeals filed by the Government of Sindh.
The verdict was issued by Justice Aamer Farooq in a case concerning the deceased quota policy.
