More than 250 underprivileged children from Orangi Town were given the opportunity to enjoy Eid preparations through a special shopping event in the city, allowing them to select clothes, toys and other essentials free of cost - with joy and dignity.
The event was held at a garments department store in Mehran Town, Korangi, where the children were invited to select clothes, toys, shoes and other essential items free of charge as part of the initiative.
Organisers ensured that the children were provided with a comfortable, air-conditioned environment so they could choose items of their preference with ease and confidence. Alamgir Welfar Trust International's initiative aimed to give the children a sense of excitement and inclusion as they prepare for Eid celebrations.
During the event, the children enthusiastically picked out their favourite outfits and other items, expressing happiness at being able to participate in Eid shopping like other families.
Chief Operating Officer Nisar Ahmed, Media Coordinator Shakeeluddin, and other officials were present on the occasion.
Speaking at the event, organisers said the purpose of the initiative was to bring smiles to the faces of deserving children and ensure that they are able to share in the true spirit and happiness of Eid.
