Sports Event: Kosht festival concludes
The colourful event was enjoyed by a large number of people.

The two--week long Kosht folk festival concluded here on Saturday in which 12 polo teams, 42 football teams and 18 volleyball teams participated. Shaldeen Polo team defeated Kosht by six goals claiming first position and Nojawan Kosht Football Team defeated the Gohkeer Team to clinch the trophy. The colourful event was enjoyed by a large number of people. There were different stalls that displayed traditional stuff to entertain the spectators. Addressing the concluding ceremony of the folk festival, Chitral Association for Mountain Areas Tourism Chairman Shahzada Sikandarul Mulk appreciated the participation of the large number of people in the local festival saying “such events preserve our culture and traditions”. He thanked the organisers and participants for arranging the event successfully and peacefully.
