PTI chairman questions delay in Imran's release

RAWALPINDI:

PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan has said if decisions were being made in accordance with justice, former prime minister Imran Khan would have been released by now.

"His family is standing outside [Adiala Jail, where Imran is detained]; allow them and the lawyers to meet him," Gohar said while speaking to reporters outside the prison on Tuesday.

Gohar said despite their demands, the government has not presented its policy statement on the energy crisis and economic policy. "You have increased petrol prices and ended net metering—for God's sake, show some consideration," he said.
