Toddler shot over family dispute
A two-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a bullet allegedly fired by his uncle over a family dispute.
According to an FIR registered with Lundianwala police on the complaint of Sajid Khalil, a resident of Chak No. 568-GB, he lives in the same house with his brother Liaqat.
On March 8 at around 7:30am, a heated argument broke out between his brothers. During the altercation, Liaqat allegedly became enraged and fired a 30-bore pistol at his brother Majid. The bullet missed its intended target and struck Majid's two-year-old son, Arsh Ramzan, in his head.
The child was initially taken to Nankana Hospital and later shifted to Children's Hospital in Lahore for treatment.
The police registered a case against the injured child's uncle Liaqat on the basis of medical evidence and launched a search to arrest him.
