The Drew Barrymore Show will continue welcoming guests and viewers for years to come.

CBS Media Ventures announced Monday that the daytime talk show has been renewed for two additional seasons, securing its run through at least Season 8 in 2028.

Drew Barrymore expressed gratitude and enthusiasm in an official statement following the announcement. "What matters most to us is our viewers and the people that come here," Barrymore said. "This show began as a space for intimate conversation, and we're continuing to plant our flag as a truly multiplatform experience."

The host emphasized the show's adaptive approach to changing media consumption habits. "We live in a world where people discover content in so many different ways, and from the very start in 2020, our mission was to break the mold rather than conform to the traditional daytime landscape," she continued. "My curiosity about people is what fuels me. I'm so excited to continue."

Jason Kurtz, executive producer and showrunner, praised Barrymore's authentic approach to the format. "Drew is the original influencer—a true trendsetter and culture-driving force who has consistently stayed ahead of the conversation," Kurtz said. "The success of this show is rooted in the fact that Drew shows up as her unfiltered, authentic self every single day."

The renewal arrives amid significant shifts in the daytime television landscape. The Jennifer Hudson Show recently secured a Season 5 renewal, while other celebrity-led talk shows are concluding their runs. The Kelly Clarkson Show will end after seven seasons this fall, with Clarkson citing a desire to prioritize her children. Sherri, hosted by Sherri Shepherd, is also scheduled to air its final episodes this autumn.

Producers behind Sherri addressed the show's conclusion in a joint statement, noting the decision was "driven by the evolving daytime television landscape" and expressing intention to "explore alternatives for it on other platforms."

The Drew Barrymore Show premiered in 2020 and has built a dedicated audience through its intimate interview style and multiplatform presence. The program airs on CBS stations nationwide.
