Man visiting cousin's home beaten to death

DIJKOT:

A youth was allegedly tortured to death by a woman's husband and his accomplices after he was caught visiting her in Dijkot.

Police registered a murder case against four suspects and arrested the main accused.

The case was registered at Muridwala police station on the complaint of Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Pir Shah. He stated that his son Kamran had gone to Chak No. 488-GB to visit a cousin.

The complainant alleged that the woman's husband Piran Ditta arrived at his house, caught the victim, cut his hair and tortured him along with accomplices Shaukat, Bashir and another suspect.

The police said the victim fell unconscious and was shifted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
