Two children dead as speeding SUV falls into stream

Two children were killed and three others injured when a speeding Vigo vehicle lost control while taking a turn and plunged off a bridge into a stream in Malir's Saleh Muhammad Goth, rescuers said on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as 15-year-old Shehzad and 10-year-old Hamza. Rescuers said the children's bodies were shifted to JPMC, while the injured were also admitted for medical treatment.
The SHO of Memon Goth police station said preliminary investigations suggest that speeding was the main cause of the accident. He added that the vehicle went out of control while taking a sharp turn and fell into the stream. Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
