Special Eid travel guidelines for passengers, bus operators

The Motorway Police has issued special instructions for passengers and bus operators ahead of Eidul Fitr following directives from Additional IG National Highways and Motorway Police South Zone Munir Ahmed Sheikh and DIG Motorway Police Syed Fareed Ali.
According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, strict action will be taken against vehicles charging excess fares from passengers. Transporters and bus owners have been directed not to carry more passengers than the prescribed capacity. Vehicles carrying passengers on bus roofs or exceeding the allowed number will face strict legal consequences. Such buses will not be permitted to enter national highways.

All transporters and bus operators are instructed to ensure the presence of two drivers on long routes. Drivers are also urged to exercise caution and responsibility during travel to avoid any emergencies.
