Drone finds 204 large properties out of tax net

RAWALPINDI:

The government's third-party checking aerial drone survey has identified 204 large properties that are out of the tax assessment net from the property tax assessment of the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department.

The Director General of Excise has ordered the immediate inclusion of all 204 units in the tax net. The properties in question are located in the vicinity of the New Islamabad Airport.

Each of these belong to influential personalities and most of these are commercial units. The department expects additional income through the inclusion of these properties in the tax net.
