Peshawar municipal staff go unpaid
.

The first ten days of the holy month of Ramazan have passed, yet employees of the Metropolitan Government Peshawar remain without their monthly salaries and pensions, sparking widespread frustration among the workforce.
They stated that even in this blessed month of Ramazan, Metropolitan employees and pensioners are left yearning for their due payments. Fasting individuals face numerous essential expenses during the holy month, but due to the Metropolitan administration's negligence or inefficiency, salaries remain pending.
The union leaders announced that a consultative meeting has been called for Monday to plan protest actions if the outstanding dues are not released promptly.
This recurring delay has heightened hardships for hundreds of families reliant on timely government disbursements, underscoring ongoing financial management challenges.
