Cardi B’s reported relationship with Stefon Diggs has come under renewed scrutiny following claims that the NFL player has been sending luxury gifts in an attempt to reconnect after an alleged fallout.

According to a source who spoke to The U.S. Sun, Diggs has sent Chanel items and a reportedly $26,000 Rolex watch in an effort to “heal wounds”.

The insider alleged that the gestures followed tensions around Super Bowl weekend, after which Cardi is said to have limited communication.

Speculation about a split intensified when fans noticed the pair had unfollowed each other on social media. Around the same time, a Super Bowl afterparty that Cardi was reportedly organising was cancelled, further fuelling discussion online.

Sources claimed the decision was made after tensions escalated and that the rapper chose to step back from public events.

The same outlet reported that Cardi is maintaining strict boundaries. One source alleged she currently considers herself a single mother and has “put up a wall”, refusing to meet or speak with Diggs despite attempts to contact her.

Gifts reportedly sent to venues during her Little Miss Drama tour were allegedly turned away by her team. Diggs has also not been permitted to attend her shows to avoid “any drama or potential issues”, according to the source.

During a recent concert in Los Angeles, Cardi addressed the crowd, saying: “Just because I ain’t f—ing with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy.”

Sources further claimed she is focusing on her career and family. “She is putting herself and her son first,” one insider alleged, adding that any reconciliation would require time, if it occurs at all.
