Foreign relations: Commemorating Saudi Arabia’s National Day

Every year, on September 23 - the first day of Libra - the people of Saudi Arabia get together to commemorate their National Day.


The day is a unique event and according to the Khadim Al-Harmain H M King Abdullah, it is not only a festivity but also has historical, cultural and political significance.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came into being 81 years ago. Arabs attribute the success to the bravery of the country’s founder and benefactor, HM King  Abdul Aziz Ben Abdul Rehman Al-Saud.
