LAHORE:

JI chief Hafiz Naeem said that military operations cannot solve the problem of terrorism, urging the government to involve stakeholders and political parties to curb the menace.

Speaking at JI's central Shura meeting, he said two years have passed since the rigged elections, leaving the government without public support. He warned that rise in terrorism in Balochistan and elsewhere is alarming.

Criticising Pakistan's potential inclusion in Trump's proposed peace board, he said Musharraf had led the country to destruction by supporting the US, while the current rulers are also following the same path.
