SHEIKHUPURA:

A 14-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from her house for pursuing a police case. According to police officials, Siddique colony resident labourer Muhammad Ashraf’s daughter Rabia was abducted by three men for pursuing a case against them.

Ashraf told police officials that he and his family had registered a case against the accused three days ago and told the police that the men had tried to kidnap his wife. “They beat her up while I wasn’t at home and tore her clothes. Our neighbours intervened and they threatened us, telling us not to say anything,” Ashraf said. Ashraf and his daughter registered a case with police and on Thursday night accused Asim and his three accomplices broke into Ashraf’s house and abducted his daughter Rabia. Ashraf has registered a case with the A-division Police Station. “I want my child back and I want these men caught for attacking my family twice,” he said.
