Man electrocuted, 2 injured in kite flying accidents
Victim had climbed an electricity pole to catch the kite when he suffered a fatal shock
LAHORE:
A man died and two were injured in incidents linked to kite flying in the city on Friday.
The fatal incident was reported near Sukh Nehr, where 25-year-old Ali Rashid was electrocuted while attempting to retrieve a fallen kite.
Rescue officials said the victim had climbed an electricity pole to catch the kite when he suffered a fatal shock.
The body was handed over to the family after completion of legal formalities.
A 21-year-old motorcyclist, Rafi Tanveer, was injured in Defence Phase 5 by kite string.
