PESHAWAR:

Investigators have made significant progress in the probe of the suicide bombings at the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in Peshawar, identifying key facilitators behind the attacks.

According to officials, preliminary findings indicate that the elements providing support to the suicide bombers were also Afghans, with the entire attack meticulously planned across the border.

Authorities confirmed that several important arrests have been made, with interrogations expected to reveal further critical details about the network. Investigators have widened the scope of questioning to trace other accomplices involved in facilitating the attacks.

The deadly assault on November 24, 2025, saw three suicide bombers target the FC headquarters, resulting in the martyrdom of three FC personnel. The case has been registered with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), which is actively pursuing all leads.

Officials emphasized that law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to bringing every individual involved to justice and dismantling the network behind the attacks. The ongoing investigation highlights the transnational nature of the threat and underscores the continued vigilance required.
