Three members of a family killed in a road accident near Keamari Gate No 17 in the early hour of Friday have been identified as 30-year-old Sikandar, his 33-year-old wife Sakina, and their three-year-old son Qaziyan.
Docks police said Sikandar had gone with his family to a shrine located near Sher Shah Bridge on Mauripur Road. While returning, the accident occurred near Keamari Gate No. 17.
Police stated that traffic pressure was heavy on the road leading from Mauripur towards ICI Bridge, while Sikandar was reportedly travelling the wrong way towards Mauripur when his motorcycle collided with a fast-moving unidentified vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
