The Silk-Road Biohealth Agricultural Industry Alliance, Northwest A&F University (NWAFU), China, and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) have agreed to deepen cooperation in agriculture, education, and agri-industry, with a focus on turning research into industry-ready solutions.
The understanding emerged during a meeting between a Chinese delegation led by Prof Zhang Lixin and UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali.
Discussions centered on strengthening academic and research linkages and exploring new avenues for collaboration in bio-health agriculture, smart farming, and technology transfer.
Prof Zhang Lixin said NWAFU is among China's most comprehensive agricultural universities, offering a full spectrum of agricultural disciplines. He noted that Pakistan and China enjoy strong bilateral ties and are already collaborating in multiple sectors.
