Firing over street argument claims two lives

DIJKOT:

A dispute over standing in a street in Balochni turned deadly when two groups opened fire on each other, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a man, while two brothers sustained injuries and were hospitalised.

According to police, the incident occurred in Chak 56 RB, Balochni. The dispute between two parties, led by Asghar Ali and Ghulam Mohiuddin, escalated into armed confrontation, during which both sides reportedly fired directly at one another.

As a result, Asghar Ali, his wife Shamim Bibi, and his brother Shabbir Ahmed were struck, along with Ghulam Mohiuddin.

The injured were immediately transported to THQ Hospital Sangla Hill.

Shamim Bibi of the first party and Ghulam Mohiuddin of the second party succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, while the others remain under treatment.
