Teen murder case transferred to CCD

The investigation into the abduction and murder of a 13-year-old girl from Mohallah Kashmiriyaan, Dhoke Hassu, in the Ratta Amral area of Rawalpindi has been transferred to the Crime Control Department (CCD) Rawalpindi, while a high-level team from the district police continues its inquiry.
According to police, over the past four days, more than 30 suspicious individuals have been questioned, but the identity of the abductor and killer remains unknown. Authorities are also awaiting the forensic reports of samples collected from the girl after post-mortem examination.
Details of the case reveal that on January 22, the 13-year-old girl, living with her parents and five siblings in Mohallah Kashmiriyaan, went to fetch a cold drink from a nearby shop around 9pm. She never returned home. Upon being informed, her brothers and relatives searched for her and, after failing to locate her, reported the matter to Ratta Amral police. Police reached the scene, collected evidence and registered a case of abduction.
