Cole Tucker confirmed he and Vanessa Hudgens welcomed a baby girl, sharing rare details about life as parents of two

Cole Tucker has shared new details about life as a father of two, revealing the sex of his and wife Vanessa Hudgens’ second child. 

The former MLB player confirmed during a recent podcast appearance that the couple welcomed a baby girl in November, joining their older child, a son born in July 2024.

Speaking on the January 14 episode of the Baseball Isn’t Boring podcast, Tucker reflected on adjusting to parenthood with two young children. He noted that their newborn is just weeks old, while their first child is now a year and a half. When asked whether the couple had welcomed sons or daughters, Tucker confirmed they now have “one of each.”

Tucker also offered insight into his and Hudgens’ parenting approach, emphasizing that they want to expose their children to a wide range of experiences without pressure. While his son has already shown interest in activities such as music, sports and basketball, Tucker stressed that there are no expectations for him to follow in his father’s footsteps as a professional athlete.

“I want him to do whatever he wants to do,” Tucker explained, adding that both he and Hudgens understand what it means to pursue careers others once thought unlikely. He said their goal is to support their children’s interests while allowing them the freedom to choose their own paths.

The couple, who married in December 2023 in Tulum, Mexico, have largely kept details about their children private, including their names. Hudgens previously announced her first pregnancy at the 2024 Academy Awards and later confirmed the arrival of their second child in 2025.

As they continue navigating early parenthood, Tucker and Hudgens remain focused on family life, balancing their careers while embracing the challenges and joys of raising two young children.
