Lily Allen has appeared to weigh in on the ongoing public rift between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, following the release of Brooklyn’s recent statement about their strained relationship.

On Monday, January 19, Allen, 40, shared an image via her Instagram Stories showing a painting of Brooklyn, 26, wearing a blue polka-dot outfit. The artwork closely resembled the cover of her October 2025 album West End Girl, which features Allen in a similar outfit and painted style. The original album artwork was created by Spanish artist Nieves González. While Allen did not directly reference the Beckham family feud, the timing of the post led some fans to interpret it as a subtle show of support for Brooklyn.

Allen has previously spoken publicly about personal challenges in her own life. She revealed last year that West End Girl was influenced by experiences from her marriage to actor David Harbour. The couple separated in early 2025 after four years of marriage. In an interview with British Vogue in October 2025, Allen said that while some of the album reflects real experiences, not every detail should be taken as literal.

Allen’s post followed Brooklyn Beckham’s lengthy statement shared on Instagram Stories earlier the same day, in which he addressed his family feud in detail. Brooklyn said he had remained silent for years in an effort to keep family matters private but felt compelled to speak out after continued media coverage, which he attributed to his parents and their representatives.

In the statement, Brooklyn said he does not wish to reconcile with his family at this time and denied claims that he is being influenced by others. He accused his parents of controlling the public narrative about the family throughout his life and criticized what he described as performative public appearances and inauthentic relationships.

Brooklyn also alleged that his parents had repeatedly interfered in his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, including during the lead-up to their April 2022 wedding. He referenced disputes surrounding Nicola’s wedding dress and claimed his parents attempted to pressure him into signing away rights to his name.

Additionally, Brooklyn said he felt rejected during David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations in May 2025. According to his account, he traveled to London to attend the event but was told he could only see his father if Nicola was not present. He further alleged that when his parents later traveled to Los Angeles, they declined to meet with him. David and Victoria Beckham also share sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 14.
