TTAP leadership arrives for Sindh tour

Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan (TTAP) leadership landed in Karachi for a four-day Sindh tour.

Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and TTAP Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Vice Chairman of and head of Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, spokesperson Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai, Secretary General Asad Qaiser, and Imran Khan's counsel Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry are among the delegation.

The Sindh tour is part of preparations for the nationwide protest and strike scheduled for February 8, TTAP spokesperson said. The campaign aims to mobilise public protest for the protection of constitutional rights and to highlight concerns over the prevailing political situation.

On Saturday, they are scheduled to address a public rally organised by the Sindh United Party in Jamshoro and address the Sindh High Court Bar Association.

The visit will also feature a press conference announcing the formal joining of Qomi Awami Tehreek with TTAP.

A delegation of TTAP, led by Achakzai called on the family of former Sindh Assembly speaker Agha Siraj Durrani to offer condolences.

They also visited former opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah at his residence, where they inquired after his health.
